Paolo Fresu (trumpet and flugelhorn), Tino Quaff (tenor and soprano sax), Roberto Cipelli (piano), Attilio Zanchi (double bass) & Ettore Fioravanti (drums)

Paolo Fresu Quintet dibentuk tahun 1984 oleh Roberto Cipelli dan Paolo Fresu. Kelompok musik ini ditahbiskan menjadi satu dari Grup Jazz Terkemuka di Italia oleh para kritisi musik Italia. Mereka pernah menghasilkan beberapa album diantaranya “Inner Voices” bersama dengan Saxophonist Amerika Dave Liebman (1986). Kegiatan mereka sampai saat ini, selain giat mengadakan konser, membuat rekaman sekaligus juga mengajar dalam workshop interaktif mengenai gaya dan struktur jazz, antara lain di Seminar di Nuoro, Victoria School of Arts di Melbourne, dan lain-lain.
Paolo Fresu Quintet was founded in 1984 Roberto Cipelli and Paolo Fresu. This music group was ordained as one of the leading groups of Italian Jazz by the Italian music critics. They have released some albums, i.a. “Inner Voices” with American saxophonist Dave Liebman (1986). Their activity up to present are intensely perform in concerts, make recordings, and also teaching in an interactive workshop about style and structures of jazz, among others at Seminars in Nuoro, Victoria School of Arts in Melbourne, etcetera.
